List of all Voigtländer SL lenses for Nikon F-mount

Voigtländer is one of my favorite lens brands after Nikon. I bought my first Voigtländer lens in 2015, it was the Nokton 58mm f/1.4 SL II N which I paired along with my Nikon D7100. Shortly after that I also bought the Color-Skopar 28mm f/2.8 Aspherical SL II and I love both ever since. I loved the all metal design, that made these lenses look premium as compared to Nikon's F-Mount G lenses. The only downside was these lenses are manual focus only, but I was willing to accept that in exchange for a great built quality, great image quality and a smaller foot print. Voigtländer SL lenses (lenses specifically designed for SLR cameras) are optically superb, but they're currently produced and marketed by the Japanese company Cosina. While Voigtländer had a heavy focus on SL lenses in the early 2000s, as of today their main focus are lenses for Sony's E-mount. At its peak there were 10 SL lenses for Nikon's SL mount, but right now there are only two in production. Lenses for other SLR mounts by companies like Pentax and Canon are completely discontinued. There's a vibrant market for second hand lenses on eBay, so it's still possible to get minty versions of most lenses listed in this post, especially from Japan. Due to great quality and durability, these lenses are still looking great today and will be for the foreseeable time.

Will the Fuji X-Pro 3 be the most gimmicky camera of the year?

To answer the question in the title: Yes, I believe so. Of course the Sony A6600 will offer some strong competition for the title as well, but I still think the Fuji X-Pro 3 will prevail in the end. As many of you know, I'm not too fond of the Fuji X-System. First I had a lot of issues with my X100T that failed me at the end I had high repair costs. Secondly, I believe Fuji fans are some of the most obnoxious and delusional camera brand fans on the internet, led by their basement guru Ken Wheeler, who keeps preaching about how great and infallible Fuji is regardless of the truth, but is not able to produce any meaningful photography besides snapshots of horses. Congratulations, Fuji fans. You managed to make Pentax fans look sane and reasonable.

Influencers are leaving Sony Alpha ambassador program

It's been a rough year for Sony Alpha in my opinion. A little over a year ago Sony silently removed Jason Lanier as one of their ambassadors after a model alleged improper behavior and sexual harassment. At that time (in May-June 2018) there were just rumors, but nobody knew for sure why he was ditched, and Lanier never addressed this issue when his followers asked him about it. He was one of Sony Alpha's most prolific ambassadors in the early days of the brand's foray into the full frame mirrorless market (2013-2017). The whole scandal blew up this summer when several women came out and shared their negative experiences with Lanier, and alleged several instances of abuse. As a consequence, Rotolight, Lanier second biggest sponsor after Sony, suspended cooperation with him as well.

CASIO G-Shock Store in Taipei

If you're a G-SHOCK fan like me, you will want to visit Taipei's biggest G-SHOCK store if you happen to come to Taiwan. The store is relatively large and located close to Zhongxiao Dunhua Metro Station in Taipei's trendy East District.

New iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max prices in Taiwan

The Apple event is over and new iPhones are going to be launched very soon. This time they were named iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro (as well as iPhone Pro Max). The keynote was not that good actually, and I wasn't really that impressed with the products they introduced. These iPhones are just another refresh of the original iPhone X, which was revolutionary. I don't like the look of the cameras, and it's not really something that attracts me, since I shoot with a Nikon D810. Anyway, here are the new 2019 iPhone prices in Taiwan:

This is a list of all Nikon's Z Series lenses for their mirrorless cameras. This list will be constantly updated, and it's meant to serve as a helping tool for those like me who are planning to enter the Z system. The lenses are sorted by the widest focal length.
